To enrich InDesign documents and use them with the PressRun solutions, users must follow a few conventions.<\/strong> In order to ease this process, the PressRun solution was in need of a tool<\/strong> that could check<\/strong> for potential issues within the document before publishing, fix<\/strong> these issues automatically and help convert<\/strong> these elements to HTML5 before upload files to the PressRun Cloud solution.<\/p>\n

We chose to develop a Flex\/AS3 extension for InDesign<\/strong>*. Extensions are ideal for companies such as PressRun. They are easy to install, behave like native panels and can be deeply skinned. We also skinned the interface\u00a0based on PressRun mockups<\/strong> while sharing\u00a0ergonomic\u00a0concerns*.<\/p>\n

The panel we developed offers all the expected functionalities and runs smoothly within Adobe InDesign. Every checking, fixing and support features are now accessible from a simple click.<\/strong> Our technology therefore helped to optimize the PressRun workflow<\/strong> and boosts the solution in a highly competitive\u00a0digital publishing market.<\/strong><\/p>\n
